Producer — an organism that creates its own energy using energy from the sun.

Consumer — an organism that has to consume (or eat) to get energy

Herbivore — an animal that eats plants only

Carnivore — an animal that eats meat only

Decomposer — an organism that breaks down dead or decaying plants or animals
